Volleyball

• Open-minded and I easily adapt to new techniques or play styles. Being an international player I’ve been in the situation of having to adapt to new coaches and teammates many times which has made me become a fast learner and easy to train and teach person. 
• I know how to handle pressure and quickly analyze situations which allow me to know what decision to make. My presence on the field brings calm and confidence to my teammates and coach since in the moments were we shouldn’t take risks I make the most sensible decision for the team and the situation. 
• My most outstanding physical quality is my setter hands. Since I started playing volleyball my attitude and skill showed I was meant to be a setter so I’ve always played in that position which has helped me develop remarkably sensitive hands because of the experience I have setting.

Academics

• Very curious and passionate about understanding the scientific part of the world. Since I was little I’ve always had questions and reflections about the behavior of the world and I would surprise my teachers and parents by saying I wanted to understand the world separated from all of the human constructions but the functioning of human body and earth by itself. 
• I am interested in various branches of science however, I’ve always had more interest and ease in those related to health. I’ve had the obsession and passion for helping people ever since I was born and I believe science is a very powerful area in order to do that. 
• Fields of study: Life Sciences, biomedicine, psychology, human biology, health sciences, human behavior, biochemistry, neuroscience, molecular biology, genetic science.
