March 2014Personal Statement
I have been playing volleyball for about five years now. When I first found this sport I knew I wanted to learn more and possibly play at college level. I am now a sophomore student athlete at Pensacola State College and am ready to further my volleyball career.
I am a quick setter and consistent server. I am a team leader who works for what's best for the team. I am always looking for advice from coaches as to how I can improve. I am very coachable and want to continue improving my game more and more.
I am also a VERY hard worker in the classroom. I have continued to keep my GPA and grades high while playing at the college level. Living on my own while playing volleyball and taking at least 5 classes a semester has taught me time management skills and how to balance my education with volleyball.
I am almost halfway through my last season here at Pensacola State and am ready to move on to a bigger four year school. I want to attend a school that is going to challenge me to improve my game and my education.
