Amanda Mishkin '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi,

I am Amanda Kate Mishkin. I have played soccer  and basketball primarily since I was 3 years old but I fell in love with volleyball a few years ago before I was a freshman. . I play  both beach and indoor. I love the camaraderie with my teammates and because I am tall and a lefty I am an asset to them and I love being needed and appreciated. When I feel passionate anything I am unstoppable.  I kind of have a switch that I flip. There are many girls that started in this sport long before me but I am making up ground very quickly. 

I love cars and driving, hanging out with friends and gaming as well. When I am not practicing and traveling for club I usually stay at home with my family and friends. My short term goal is to finish strong both academically and in sports at my high school and my club team. I would love a signing ceremony at my school. I think that would be the ultimate. 

I am open to go to college in or out of Florida but mostly looking in Florida. I have interest in business management, maybe something related to sports, or computer science or law. I am wide open to what interests me and what I can really get excited about. Life is short you need to love what you do!
