Isabella Medeiros '25 Recruiting Profile

My objective is to find an outstanding college program with a combination of challenging academics and the highest level of volleyball competition. I am a scholar athlete who excels on and off the court interested in an undergraduate degree in business. I currently have all As in my freshman year at Pine Crest School in Ft. Lauderdale, one of the top academic schools in the country. I started playing when I was 8 years old and my competitive drive focuses me on getting better at each and every practice. I am know for my on court leadership, volleyball IQ, consistency in setting a fast paced offense,  defense and quickness. My 14s Open club team at Wildfire competed at the highest level in 2021, where we won or placed second at multiple large OPEN tournaments including the Florida Holiday Challenge, The JJVA Tropical Ice Open, the Sunshine Volleyball Classic, the Beast of the Southeast and going undefeated at the Mizuno Big South Qualifier. Unfortunately injuries limited our success at AAUs and Nationals, but we competed with a great attitude in close matches against many top clubs in the country and finished above expectations. During the Pine Crest 2021 season, I finished as the top freshman in assists in the state of Florida. For 2022 Club Season, we have put together an outstanding team at Boomers 15 Mizuno (Pompano Beach, FL) this year and expect to compete and win at an even higher level with coach Lisa Zielinski (St. Thomas Aquinas HS) training and leading us. Please come and watch us at the Triple Crown NIT (Kansas City), Northern Lights Qualifier (Minneapolis), Sunshine Volleyball Classic (Orlando), Mizuno Big South Qualifier (Atlanta), Florida Regional Qualifier (Orlando) and hopefully AAU Nationals (Orlando) and USAV Nationals (Indianapolis).
