Valeria Aldarondo '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Valeria Nicole Aldarondo. I'm 17 years old and I'm completing my junior year at Mater Academy Charter High School, FL. Volleyball is my everything since i was 7 years old. I am committed to pursuing a Medical Laboratory Science degree and become a successful Medical Technologist, but meanwhile my dream is to be selected at a school that will prepare me in my career while enabling me to pursue my passion for playing volleyball at the collegiate level.

As the setter of my team, I developed on to lead my team to victory and always encouraging my teammates to do their best in court. I'm a very energetic setter with good techniques in serving, passing and hitting. Some of my strengths are the self-control in critical game situations, my reaction speed and explosiveness. Im also very good creating plays on court. Im always training off season and playing all year round with an Elite club team which helps me improve not only my physical condition but the knowledge of the game.

In school, I have been part of the National Honor Society where we are always helping an caring for the needed ones. Also, The Warriors Club which we do charities and collect donations. Im also part of the volunteers which give lectures at the school Chapel and mini plays for elementary students. My free time belongs to the beach.

In summary, part of my success includes finding a competitive college where I can play a high level volleyball. I'm prepared to take the challenge!
