2013 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Hi! My name is Nahir Navarro I am a very dedicated volleyball player and a perfectionist. In school I'm always striving to be the top student in the class, if not I force myself to get that excellent grade. Just, like in volleyball where I'm always trying to perfect my pass. I practice every single day, even if the coach doesn't put practice that day. I also, take care of myself from injuries and try to eat as healthy as possible. I initiated volleyball at the age of 10 in a park called sparks. At the age of 11 in seventh grade I enrolled in the Palm Springs Middle School volleyball team. Then, at the age of 12 I enrolled in South Florida Volleyball Club. At the age of 13, with my experience I attended Miami Volleyball Club 18's. Furthermore, currently I'm in South Dade Volleyball Club learning new things everyday. I am attending Hialeah Senior High School and I'm co-captain. I've been mentioned in the Miami Herald several times and recognized in one as Athlete of the Week. I have also been invited to a Christmas Break beach volleyball camp. I was recognized by the USA Junior Nationals Volleyball program as one of the outstanding high school volleyball players in my region. I have been to High Performance Florida Volleyball Tryouts and so far I've been selected for the pre seleccion in 2011 and 2012 I went to the development camp. I continue to go forward in pursue of making Division one. All I have to say is, just try me. I'll try my best and all I want is for people to see me playing. I could do it.

Training
- to become a better volleyball player

- Currently training from 10 am to 1 pm Mon.- Fri. in Hialeah High School with coach Rosa Garcia. Then, train with my dad from 7 pm- 9 pm. Fridays training with Raul Domingo from 6-8 pm. Sometimes, I go to LA Fitness to practice with the Men my defense. Other times I go to Goodlet Park and play beach volleyball.
