Mackenzie O'Loughlin '19 Recruiting Profile

I grew up watching my cousin play volleyball and that is where my love of the game began.   From the young age of 9 I have played club volleyball. Because my birthday falls at the end of August,  I have been forced to play with girls who are older than me.  That required me to work harder than them to keep up.  I've always played on the most competitive teams in the area and that has strengthened all of my abilities.  

My academics are a real priority and I look forward to attending a college that has both superior academics and athletics. I believe attitude is everything and I live and play by example. God has given me this stature and I feel so blessed to use it in a game that I love. I am very fortunate to be starting my 9th year of club volleyball, each year my teams have played at a high level including trips to the AAU, USAV National Championships (JO's) and a High School State Championship final 4.  I feel as though these events have made me stronger both mentally and physically and I very much look forward to the recruiting process.
