I started playing volleyball my freshman year in high school. My two older sisters played in high school as well so they would take time to practice with me so I can be just like them. I learned some skills from them and finally decided to put them into use by trying out for Varsity my freshman year and successfully being an addition to that team.
The positions I play now are setter and defensive specialist. I don't only use what I know for my team, however I use it everywhere I go. If a child wants to learn how to play volleyball or anyone in general, I take time to teach them and make them love it as much as I do. I also play other sports such as soccer and I play as a goalie. I find myself blocking balls by bumping them to my control or spiking them out if they go over my head.
I am a very humble person and I love to motivate others whether it's on the court or outside of any sport. I always try my best inspire people to perform anything to the best of their ability. I've always learned to "Go hard or Go home." I have always wanted to play at the collegiate level since I was little. I would go to my sisters' games and even watch volleyball games on television. I believe that in order to succeed, you shouldn't only help yourself, but you should help others too because you learn more when you teach.
