Kelly Germain '15 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Kelly Germain. I am a senior at Polk State College Lakeland Collegiate High School in Lakeland, Florida. I am a very proactive student and athlete. I am a starter on my high school varsity team at George Jenkins High School, and I have played club ball since sixth grade. I have always played up in my age for club and have played in the 18s division for the past three years. I have a 4.56 weighted GPA, and I am interested in majoring in biomedical engineering. My high school, Collegiate High School, is very special. It is for juniors and seniors who excel in their academics. Attending Lakeland Collegiate High School would allow me to graduate high school with my high school diploma and my AA degree. Having my AA degree would allow me more flexibilty with my schedule in college. I could work my schedule so I have a lighter load during volleyball season, but I could also expand my course offerings to earn my masters degree. Time management is one of my strong points. I maintain a high academic standing, being third in my class, while still playing volleyball at a varsity level and volunteering my time at the SPCA. My dream has always been to play college volleyball, and I look forward to making your team better!
