Sydney Williams '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sydney Williams, I am the class of 2023 and I currently attend Viera High School. I live in Melbourne Florida and grew up here playing volleyball at age six and incorporated beach volleyball at age 12. I have played with Cape Coast Volleyball Club since I started playing and currently play on the 16s elite team. I played middle from 13s-15s and switched to outside at 16s. I have now been playing outside for 3 years and  looking to play volleyball at the next level after highschool. I intend to major in business management in hopes to use my logistic and team building skills in the future. 

I am in the Business and Finance academy at Viera High school learning how to use Microsoft Word, Exile, PowerPoint, and Quickbooks. I have found that I really enjoy the business atmosphere along with the strategic planning and logistics that go into it. That's why I think I would thrive as a business major. 

When I have free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and doing outdoor activities. I currently work part time at McDonalds when I don’t have practice along with maintaining a 3.9 weighted GPA. I am hoping to receive a scholarship to be able to continue my athletic and academic career and would prefer to stay in the south so I can stay close to my family in Florida.
