My collegiate goal is to earn placement in a school or university that is a good fit for my athletic and academic aspirations. It is important that I am challenged academically. I intend to continue maintaining my high GPA throughout my college years.
I am an explosive player at the net and am more valuable on the court than on the bench. This enthusiasm and power is something that sets me apart. Many coaches compliment my obvious love for the game and passion to play.
Easily coachable and taking corrections seriously, I am a good candidate for any collegiate team. Our head coach, Jan Class, says I am "a girl who does not settle, but instead consistently strives for more". I am proud of this characteristic, knowing I will take it with me in the classroom, on the job, and of course, on the court.
Excellent under pressure, I am a natural leader. My high energy personality makes it easy for me to give constant support and encouragement to my teammates. It means so much to me that younger players tell me that I inspire them to work harder. It's a great feeling to give strength to others.
Although I am a full time volleyball player, I have great interest and natural skill in Track and Field. I always place in shot put and discus. This school season (2020/21) I earned placement in Track and Field FL State Finals in Discus and Shot Put for my highschool, Seacrest Country Day School, finishing #14 in the state in discus.
