Avary Tennant '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Avary and I have been playing Volleyball for 6 years. My parents involved me with several  sports when I was little and it wasn’t until I walked onto a volleyball court when I knew right where I belonged.

Since my parents have served the US Air Force for 45 years combined, I have moved, school to school, state to state, even country to country. Though challenging at times, the moves have help shape my development and taught me to adapt more easily to life’s challenges. Volleyball has been my stability and taught me leadership while educating me on the value of being a team player. It has helped me develop friendships while learning to value all the characteristics the sport offers.

I am dedicated and coachable-a good candidate for your team. This sport I love has been my constant, allowing me the opportunity to learn from many wonderful coaches with different philosophies and styles which has made me a diverse player. Though my stronger attributes are in the back row, and defensive specialist, I am able to play as an outside hitter and setter as needed.
