Rauly Eason '24 Recruiting Profile

I am Rauly Eason, and my goal is to earn a spot at a Division 1 or 2 team while continuing to play competitive volleyball throughout my high school career. I'm working on remaining healthy and strong through daily dietary choices, strength & conditioning training through Physical Education, LLC with Adam Lee, while maintaining a high GPA in academically competitive AP courses/high level math. 

I aspire to pursue higher education in the field of Physical Education/Sports Medicine. In addition to strong stats, I bring intangibles to every team I'm apart of, including but not limited to: contagious energy that inspires my teammates to push harder, and ambidextrous skills at the net (hitting/tipping with my left hand which throws off my opponent and expands the hitting zone).

My immediate and extended family have raised me to value character and the idea of people over processes. Respect for authority and for others has been ingrained in me since I was very young. I am a team player, and work well with others. Through hardships in life (our home flooded in Hurricane Irma in 2017 and my dad had a massive heart attack on the soccer fields in 2020), I've learned to recognize & prioritize what truly matters. Little things don't overwhelm me as they might others, and petty drama is something I have zero interest in. I welcome healthy relationships in my life and aside from that, I just love doing what I enjoy most - playing volleyball and experiencing the joy of living life to the fullest.
