Julia Silva '22 Recruiting Profile

I discovered a passion of mine when I went to visit our cousins from Italy and she was coaching volleyball to these girls at the beach.  While she was teaching me the basics I felt like I truthfully found myself. I decided to start my journey by joining a local volleyball club. During the following year, I committed to a club team at Five Stars. Since then I have loved the sport and have been working really hard to improve. By playing volleyball I noticed how much I love being part of a team, practicing and playing with my teammates. Through this sport I have really grown as a person having highs and lows, which is okay because that's part of it. My academic goals are to keep a high GPA and do well in my Ap classes.  I would like to continue playing volleyball throughout college. I'm very determined and never give up on my goals. I'm always giving a hundred percent and try my best on everything I do.
