Sarah Sullivan '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sarah Sullivan and I am 6'0 tall and approximately 160 pounds. I have been playing volleyball since the eighth grade, and I have known since then that I wanted to pursue volleyball in college. I played JV, my freshman year and Varsity, sophomore and junior year. All three years I started as middle blocker. Not only did I start as middle blocker for school ball but I also did for club ball.I live for the competition, my teammates and winning; it is my passion. As captain of my team, I lead by example, helping my teamates and pushing them to do their best. I was 1st Team All Coference my Junior and Senior years and I am constantly pushing myself to do better, as there is never a practice or game where I am not working my hardest. My primary position is middle blocker but I can and love playing the outside hitter as well. Not only do I play front row but I am a great defensive player, getting a dig away from most digs my junior year. I am a very good listener to what the coaches tell me and I apply immediately what they say to my game. I have a positive attitude which also helps me in the classroom. I get A's and B's, with a 3.8 GPA unweighted with AP and honors classes. My plan is to thrive in the classroom as well as the court, just as I do now. Ultimately, I am open to any college or university that can apply my talents. Thank you Sarah
