Isabella Bogacz '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Isabella Bogacz. I am 16 years old, in the class of 2023,  and I play OH/MH/OPP for my school volleyball team. I also play beach volleyball for my school and have played in beach tournaments for the last 6 years. I am dedicated, hard working, kind, and teachable. 

As a freshman, I earned varsity letters for both indoor and beach volleyball. Throughout my high school career, I am excited to continue lettering in volleyball.  As a sophomore, I was a starter on our varsity team and was given the opportunity to be an all-around player on the court. Learning to step into this role has helped to develop my defensive skills.  I started playing volleyball when I was 9 years old and I have not stopped playing since! I have learned so much from playing volleyball within my school and club teams.  My teammates and coaches have taught me leadership, determination, teamwork, and perseverance. I believe that in the challenging times is truly when I have grown the most as an athlete.

I want to major in business; in hopes of running my own business, as both my parents have done. I believe this will give me a unique opportunity to give back to my community in the future as a Christian business owner. For the past 5 years volunteering in numerous organizations, including Bayside Community Church. I just received the gold level President’s volunteer service award. Serving my community is another way to glorify God.
