Samantha Caglianone '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Caglianone, and one of the biggest goals I want to achieve is to play volleyball at the next level. I am shooting for a Division I school, but would not mind playing Division II. I am a very athletic player and I can be put anywhere on the court and always play to the best of my abilities. I will play wherever my team needs me. I am a six-rotation outside for both my club team and high school team with a love of defense and serve-receive. I also have a good back row attack and shots needed for my team. Since I am used to always staying on the court, I am very observant and feed information to my teammates who come and go from the court. I love bonding with my teammates on and off the court and it helps our seasons be all the better. I am a very coachable player and am always willing to learn new skills and techniques from every coach I have. When I get older I want to do something in the medical field because I want to help people and I find the human body so interesting. Outside of school I am very into music and have taught myself how to play the piano, guitar, and ukulele on my own. 

I am looking for a school that is not only competitive but will continue to make me work hard and earn my spot on the court.
