Madelyn Lincicum '26 Recruiting Profile

I first began my athletic career as a year-round soccer player, playing for 4 years, until I advanced to the competitive club level of play for 6 years. I discovered my love of volleyball prior to 9th grade and decided to give it a try. I made the Greenbrier High School Freshman team for 2022 fall season, and continued to grow and learn. In the spring of 2023, I made CSRA Heat's club level team, earning recognition as a 2023 Palmetto All-Region player. This past 2023 fall high school season I had the opportunity to play on both my school's Junior Varsity and Varsity teams, fostering my aspirations to continue volleyball at the collegiate level. Spring of 2024, I was selected to play for Augusta Junior Volleyball's 16 Royal (National) team in which I was selected as Female Athlete of Year for the club, Coach's Award for my team and Palmetto All-Region Player. My team and I were also able to secure a bid for USAV Nationals in Las Vegas, Nevada. This upcoming year, I will be playing with Academy Volleyball Club in Augusta, Georgia for their 17 National team. 

I am a strong blocker and hitter with a high game IQ and court awareness. I am a very coachable player and positive leader among my peers and teammates, always striving to improve my game and help others do the same. I always strive to balance my work in the classroom with my time on the court, as well as extracurricular activities. I am a well-rounded athlete and believe that I could positively contribute to any team.
