When I see college athletes playing the game of volleyball correctly and giving 100% effort, I think it’s something amazing!
My family is very important to me, and they have taught me the importance of sportsmanship, time management, hard work, and coachability. Both of my brothers played collegiate baseball, and my dad played collegiate basketball. I have seen firsthand the time, dedication, and commitment it takes to succeed athletically at some of the top schools in the country. I have evaluated myself, and I know that I will gladly take the challenge of playing volleyball at the next level. I enjoy challenges because since I was little my parents have taught me that in relationships, academics, and athletics you get out what you put in.
When I’m not playing volleyball, studying, or spending time with my family and friends, I enjoy teaching Sunday school at my church and babysitting. I am on the leadership team for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and I am in Beta Club. I am a Tom Zachary VIP award recipient for excellent character winner, and I have been on my school’s Homecoming Court two years in a row.
My goals in college include being an impact player and being a role-model on and off the court while connecting with my teammates and pursuing my degree. I am thrilled about the opportunity to contribute to my team’s success by bringing my work ethic, skills, and energy to the court every day. I am excited about the opportunity to use my God given ability to play the game I love and bring glory to God.
