I have been playing volleyball at a competitive level since the age of 10. Since I started to play club, I have always dreamed of playing volleyball at the collegiate level. I am very passionate about the sport and continuously work hard to reach my full potential. I understand playing at my desired level will be a long, tough journey, but I am willing to put in as much work as needed.
I have been the starting setter every year of school and club ball I have played so far. As well as being team captain of every team I have been apart of, I also received MVP at SVT's Bulldog Brawl Tournament this season. I have great hustle on the court, I am consistent with my setting footwork, I have a consistent, clean contact point on my sets, I am I leader on and off the court, and I am constantly working on my mental toughness. I strive to be the best I can be and to be one of the top recruits in my class.
Even during off seasons, I am working hard to achieve the best. I have attended many camps at the University of Georgia, A5 Volleyball and Metro Volleyball. I have also participated in private and group setter trainings for the last few years and I will be training at Clemson University, Georgia Tech, and Georgia Southern this summer. I have also participated in track and field the past two years to stay conditioned during off season as well as to improve my hustle and stamina.
Academics are also very important to me. I study hard to make good grades. I have maintained all A's every school year, and I am confident in my abilities to continue that throughout high school. I have received awards every year of middle school for an all A average. Furthermore, I enjoy doing volunteer work at my church in the nursery. I volunteer nearly every Sunday to help with the kids ministry.
I strive to play volleyball in college at a highly competitive level. I want to be pushed harder daily to be the best player and person I can be, both on and off the court. Leadership and work ethic is very important to me. On and off the court, I try to always maintain a positive attitude and encourage others no matter the circumstance. Although I have always been a setter, I am open to all positions. I am confident that I will make a great addition any schools volleyball team and community. Thank you for your consideration.
