Hello, my name is Macy and I am a Junior; all-around player (High School Varsity Volleyball - Bishop Kelly High School in Boise, Idaho.) and Outside Hitter/OPP (Club Volleyball -Boise Volleyball Club). I have maintained a strong 3.5 GPA at one of the best academic schools in Idaho that pushes you academically more than most. Since I first touched a volleyball, I knew that this is what I wanted to be doing for the rest of my life, which immediately made my goal playing collegiate volleyball at the D1 or D2 level. I have 5 years of club volleyball experience and I made the varsity high school volleyball team as a sophomore. In college I would like to play at a high enough level of volleyball that I learn new things every time I touch the ball. I push myself to be the best I can be and until then I'll be working hard at it. Every time you touch the ball it's an opportunity, and opportunity to improve your game and grow as a player. I believe anyone can go as far as they want with hard work and determination.
I would like to attend a university or a medium to large sized college, major in Business or some branch of it, and play the game I fell in love with when I was just 10 years old. I am a defensive player with a high volleyball IQ and hold myself to a very high standard. I have the drive, attitude, and work ethic to compete at a very high and competitive college level.
