My name is Brooklyn Rose. I am 5 ‘8 and have been the starting libero on my high school varsity team since I was a freshman. I fell in love with volleyball the minute I began playing in elementary school. In sixth grade I decided to specialize at libero and I have really enjoyed learning and improving at the position each year. The feeling of digging a ball, backing up my teammates, or saving a play that everyone thinks is already over is so rewarding. Playing volleyball has taught me perseverance, confidence, passion, coach-ability and teamwork.
I am looking for a college that will allow me to pursue my educational and volleyball goals. One of my other passions is art. I specialize in drawing and painting. I'd like to apply these skills to a graphic design degree at the university level. I want to participate in a volleyball program that will continue to allow me to improve my skills and enjoy the game that I love. I also want to play for a coaching staff that is passionate, positive, and knowledgeable. And lastly, a team that is competitive and has a lot of camaraderie.
I think the thing that sets me apart is my work ethic and drive. Talent is a given for anyone that is good enough to play college volleyball, but when talent meets determination and improvement one has a chance to really make a difference on a team. I am outgoing, fun, and positive. I will be an asset to your program and the university. Thanks for taking a look at my profile and considering me.
