My education desires are geared towards Business with an agriculture emphasis. I've played high school varsity basketball for 2 years and went to state once. I also went to state track twice in the high jump. I joined the volleyball team my sophomore year because the JV coach saw me hit and told me that she would do anything to have me on her team. It started my love for volleyball and every year I look forward to the next time I can get in the gym.
I love playing this team sport and I love encouraging my fellow teammates to do their best. I hate teams with drama so I do my best to not create it. I realize the danger of having drama on the team, and know that the best way to respond to drama is to just listen courteously.
On the court I don't give up. During my senior season we had a college level athlete come in and help us with our practices. His hits were so hard they'ed bounce off the floor and hit the score board, but I never gave up on trying to return them. (He is now training for the USA Men's Volleyball Olympics for the USA team 2020) I can laugh at myself, take constructive criticism and make others enjoy their day. My goal for every day and every practice is to get 1% better. The best athletes aren't the ones that think they are at the top of their game, but the ones who believe they can become better.
My parents get letters mailed to them from my teachers of what a treat it is for me to be in their class.
Basically I enjoy life to the fullest and like to share it with others.
Thanks for viewing my profile and seeing my desire for this next level of education that I am planning for
