Hello,
I am Izzy Burns. It is my ultimate goaI to play collegiate volleyball. Here are a are a few things that make me different than the other recruits: I have always fought hard to accomplish what I want. I have a long history of airway issues that required many surgeries, including a tracheostomy. I have worked extremely hard to get into and maintain a physical condition that allows me to play high levels of indoor/outdoor volleyball. I am mentally and physically stronger than many athletes because of this. I feel that I have a very good work ethic, I am always working to improve myself. I study videos of volleyball, and I always appreciate any helpful coaching tips/advice. I care about my team and their feelings, as well. I am supportive and lead in a positive manner. I feel that I am very coachable because of my strong desire to improve for my team. I love to win, but always try to learn from defeat. I am also unique because not only do I love volleyball but I work extremely hard on getting good grades, and have career aspirations. Along with my love for volleyball is my passion for music. I am a very strong writer, singer, and guitar player and use my abilities to create songs. Volleyball is my main passion and music is a constant that keeps my busy life balanced.
