Hi! My name is Mia Carr, I am 17 years old, and am in the class of 2026. I am the captain and Libero for Riptide Volleyball and am jersey #26. I am 5’0 and go to Post Falls High School with a 4.1 GPA!
I started playing competitive volleyball in 5th grade. I was able to run and lead the offensive line as a setter and become a scrappy player in the back row. Two years ago, I transitioned to play Libero for my JV school team as well as my club team. I am a hardworking, coachable, consistent player, and had an awesome opportunity to be selected as the alternate Libero for the Evergreen Region's All-Stars U17 Team in my first year of being a Libero at 15 years old! This school season (2024), I was voted the "Dig or Die" Award by my teammates for being the scrappiest player! I have been coached by Casey Cornett, a former D1 coach, for my JV and Varsity seasons. My phenomenal club coach, Nicole Nevdahl was a former D1 athlete at Chicago State University as a Libero. These coaches continue to push me to grow and become my best, while teaching me to be the best leader and version of myself that I can be! I have been voted Captain for every team that I’ve been on because of my leadership skills, work ethic, positive, encouraging attitude, and knowledge of the game!
Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile!
