Shelby Veenstra '19 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a volleyball athlete at Laramie County Community College. We are a Division 1 NCAA junior college. I have been playing volleyball since elementary school and have progressed to the Varsity level. I have played school volleyball, club volleyball, and beach volleyball and I love every level I compete. I have always wanted to continue my passion for volleyball for as long as I possibly could.  I am a hard-worker, as well as a great leader. Education is important to me and I work hard to achieve good grades. I work well with combining my time with school and volleyball to be organized. I have put on a camp of my own to teach young kids the basic skills and techniques of the sport I love. Volleyball has been a huge part of my life ever since I was young and would love to continue on after my years at a junior college.
