I’m a competitor by nature and love the game of volleyball. Getting a college scholarship and getting my exercise science degree would be a great accomplishment. My hard work, dedication, and love for the game would make me a great candidate. I believe my character is a direct resemblance of my accomplishments. I recently received a nomination for the North Idaho Volleyball Hall of Fame Player of the Year, and received the Duane Hagadon Character Award at the North Idaho Hall of Fame Sports Banquet. I also help coach younger girls, I run setters clinics for the local non-profit volleyball club (SVVC), play club ball at T3, student body vice president, and co founding member of the W club at my high school while maintaining an above average GPA. I chose to run for a student body position my freshman year rather than a class officer position, and have loved the challenge that it brought me so I continued to move up in positions within ASB (associated student body). I was unanimously voted team captain of my high school volleyball team by the other players both my junior and senior season. I was honored that my teammates entrusted me with that position because I value team work very much. I took that responsibility very seriously and worked with my team to build a family like bond and trust with one another on and off the court.
