Claudia Lysek '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Claudia lysek. Before I start to get into my volleyball career and passion for the sport, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself, if I may. I am a sophomore at Glenbard North High School. Outside of school I love to listen to music, go outside, hangout with friends and I love to play football with my guy friends. People love to tell me how much of a people person I can be. People tell me that I'm energetic, bold, goofy, loud, joyful, and competitive . I would say I'm those things too. Now to get onto my volleyball career and passion. I started to play volleyball in 6th grade, then after6th grade I wanted to play the sport in a more competitive way, so I joined club. 7th to 10th grade I played at a club called Dynamic Impact Volleyball Club which gave me a starting platform to my volleyball career. Later on during the pandemic I played sand at Top Flight, which was something that helped me indoors. After sand I switched clubs and went to Top Flight Volleyball Club making a hard decision to leave my old team. But I knew that Top Flight would be more beneficial for me. As an athlete one thing that is most important to me is the positivity that goes on the court and the hard work. My goals are to be the teammate that will lift you up when they have fallen and need motivition to get up because volleyball is not a one person sport only. As my coach says "We win as a team, and we lose as a team. Nothing else"-Amy.
