I have been playing sports since an early age. Once I joined a volleyball club, I fell in love with the sport. Since then, I am highly committed to the game of volleyball and dream of playing at a collegiate level. Currently, I am playing for Adversity Volleyball Club, 17U national program for the 21-22 season. For my high school season, I was a starting libero on Varsity at Maine South High School (Park Ridge, IL), class of 2023. I led my team with 4.7 digs per set. In the Central Suburban League, I am the stat leader with 355 digs and 434 receptions. In addition, I had 43 assists and 23 aces with all 76 matches played. My sophomore year I was a starter and MVP on Junior Varsity at the same school. I am a very versatile player, trained to play in every position, but my primary position is a L/DS. I continuously work on improving myself and my athletic skills. I have a fast reaction time and use that to go for every ball. Also, I encourage players to play at their best. I hustle and never give up on or off the court.
As much as I value athletics, I equally value academics. I manage and maintain around a 3.5 GPA. I volunteer at my Serbian Church Community. I love being surrounded by my culture. I learned to speak Serbian from my parents who both immigrated from Serbia.
I am open to playing at a school in any region or level that will best fit me. I would like to attend a college that will help me grow as an athlete and student. I am determined to work hard in achieving my goal.
