Chloe Hillyer '20 Recruiting Profile

I'm very passionate about volleyball and a student of the game.  I would love to pursue playing volleyball at a high level, while attending a school with top notch academic standards and excellent reputation.  

I am a natural leader by example.  I am the captain of both my club and high school teams.  I eagerly take on those additional responsibilities to help make my teams stronger and more unified.  I am very supportive of my teammates and look forward to spending extra time in the gym with them, working to get better.  I believe I'm a good fit for the setting position because I enjoy the challenges that come with it.  Specifically, I'm fascinated by the mental aspect of quick decision making that is unique to the position.  I also enjoy the responsibility of having control of the offense while on the court.   I'm a driven, hardworking and competitive athlete who will always give 100% on and off the court, both in and out of season.  I expect the same commitment from my teammates.  My parents instilled in me a work ethic where I will ALWAYS hustle and I will ALWAYS be coachable.  

Academics are equally important as athletics to me.  I have a wide variety of academic interests but I do not have a specific major picked out yet.   I am currently carrying a class-load that includes a number of honors/AP classes and I had a 4.10 GPA last quarter.
