Samantha Ward '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Ward and I have been playing volleyball since fifth grade and I have been playing at Sports Performance since seventh grade. In seventh grade I was on SPVB 13 White, in eight grade I was on SPVB 14 Red, as a freshmen I was on SPVB 15 white and now as a sophmore in high-school, I am on SPVB 16 Elite. I was on the Sophomore team at Benet Academy in Lisle, Illinois, but I transferred to St. Francis high-school in the second semester of my freshmen year and I made the varsity team my sophmore year.  One of my main goals is to be able to play college volleyball. I would be a good candidate for a collegiate team because I am hardworking, driven,  and I have a passion for the game. What makes me different from many players in my area is the fact that I am able to manage school work along with volleyball. I am very committed to this sport and many of my peers are unable to juggle both school and volleyball, but I have founds many ways to manage my time and be able to practice everyday. I am extremely committed to volleyball and becoming a collegiate level athlete is my primary focus.
