My name is Alexis, and I have been playing volleyball since the beginning of 8th grade. I started out playing basketball when I was younger, but a few years later I started volleyball and liked it so much better. I dropped basketball completely to play club volleyball. Freshman year I made the JV team at Crown Point High School, and at the end of the season I received the Most Improved Player Award. I have been on JV freshman through junior year, and I dressed for post-season on varsity 2016. Our team made it to the 4A Indiana State Finals where we were State Runner-Up. I was also captain on JV, and I know I would love to play volleyball in college. I am currently undecided on a major, but an area of interest is in the Medical Field. I am a good student and work very hard to earn my grades, and I have always made the honor roll. Next year some of the classes I am taking are Dual Credit Speech, AP Psych, and Dual Credit Anatomy. I would like to concentrate on my studies as well as volleyball. I am very coachable, and I look forward to continuing my volleyball career in college.
