Hello!
My name is Jai’Lin Parker and let me tell you a little about myself! I have played volleyball since the sixth grade, and my skills have improved a ton! Volleyball is a sport that has always caught my eye, and I was finally given the chance to play! I have been in love with the sport since then.
My freshmen year of volleyball was amazing! My team is a second family to me, and they are all still important to me in season and out of season. Playing volleyball has taught me an important thing about myself, trust. Not just for my team, but as well as family. When you step on the court you must be able to trust one another, through the good and bad plays.
Growing up I didn’t really care for school, and my grades weren’t important to me. Then I had to come live with my father and step-mother, and they where the two people in my life who showed me that I was capable of being and doing anything I put my mind to. My grades went up, I was even understanding the things I was being taught in class. Most of all I learned that life could be the best when you are doing your best.
I have come far in life, and I want to continue my journey in playing sports, and as well as academics.
My parents remind me every day, “Be the best Jai’Lin you want to be,” and my best it yet to come!
Thank you for taking the time and looking at my profile!
