Brooklyn Bell '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Brooklyn Bell. I am attending Greenwood High School and will be graduating in 2024. I’ve played on the varsity team starting my freshman year and will be playing on the 17.1 team this coming club season! 

I have played volleyball from a young age and became passionate about it in my 7th-grade year. In 8th grade, I started my club career and fell in love even more. I was the captain of my 7th and 8th-grade school teams. I am not afraid of hard work and push myself to reach my highest potential. I have been a six rotation player throughout my volleyball career, setting in the back row and being a middle hitter in front. However since playing in high school, my new varsity roll is middle hitter.  I’ve also had the privilege of coaching a 12U team this year as well. It was nice to get to be able to share my passion and knowledge of the game with the younger girls. Plus it was fun!
Being a multiple-sport athlete has also helped me learn the value of hard work and dedication. Juggling both volleyball and basketball as well as having multiple honors classes keeps me busy and focused. 

I'm a leader not only on the court but in my academic performance as well. My goal is to graduate from college with a degree in psychology or a related field. I feel because of my work ethic and dedication to be the best teammate and student; I would be a great asset to any college program.
