Personal Statement

  • Hello, my name is Hannah Russell and I am a senior at Jeffersonville high school. I am part of our volleyball team and have an A and B average. I may not be very tall but I give every ball my all. I am a DS 80% of the time but I have a passion for hitting. I have had a passion to play since my older sister started playing when I was in elementary. I would practice with her every day to get better. Seeing my sister play and realizing that I love the sport came almost instantly. I believe that I would be a great candidate for your team because on the court nothing else besides being a family/ team, making smart plays, and never letting a ball drop counts to me. I come from a not-so-fortunate family, and I do and have done everything in my power to become better. I’m in a weightlifting program where I have become on top of our power rating of all females who lift in our program. strength coach Danny Struck teaches the program, and we lift, do agility, and do yoga every day. Being better is my goal, and I have set myself up to reach it every day.
  • - Thank you

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
