My name is Ryleigh Grott, and I am a junior. I am a middle hitter, and I have been playing volleyball since the 5th grade. I always enjoyed playing volleyball but didn’t really find my passion for playing until I went to try-out for my high school team my freshman year. I made varsity and I became the starting middle hitter since then. This is my first year playing club volleyball. I play for Dunes Volleyball Club, and I’ve enjoyed it a lot. I tried out for the 17s teal team, and made that team but then got moved up to the 18s Black team. I love the competition, my teammates, and my coach.
I am a very dedicated and determined player, I work hard everyday at practice for my high school and club teams. I listen to my coaches when they try helping me and when they tell me I need to fix something. I always have a positive attitude to both my coaches and teammates. I am a very competitive person, and I always want to be the best at all times. I always have a lot of energy and I am always cheering everyone on and off the court.
My goal as a player is to be the best I can be. I love playing volleyball, and I hope I can keep playing volleyball at the next level. I have so much love for the sport, and I will do anything to push myself to get better. I’m undecided on what I want to study in college right now. Any place close to home I would love to play for, but I also would be willing to move farther from home if I need too.
