My name is Ayanna Thompson, a Class of 2020 Setter. I am a Varsity starting setter captain at Twin Lakes High School and a setter on the Elite National team for The Academy Boiler Juniors Club.
I am eager to play at the collegiate level, where I want to be challenged to grow athletically, academically, and personally. I strive daily to improve my game, while also improving my role as the vocal leader of my teams. As a setter, I work daily to improve communication and court awareness for the success of our teams.
My goal is to play collegiate volleyball while majoring in Audiology/Communication Disorders. I have a 3.8 GPA, while taking Honors/AP classes and participating in volleyball, swimming, and track and field. I believe my studies and activities are preparing me for the challenges and demands of a collegiate student/athlete.
I strive to carry myself on and off the court with respect and dignity. I look forward to bringing my academics, communication skills, leadership skills, and my desire to learn/improve to your volleyball program.
