Winning State my senior year was the highlight of my high school career. However, I think I grew the most as a player during off season when we weren’t necessarily preparing for the state tournament. Off season helped me become a leader and get close to my teammates and helped me become a better Libero/defensive specialist. I was fortunate enough to be a part of an amazing program that won our sectional three years in a row. However, I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership when I tore my ACL my senior year during the state game. I had to get over the fact that I wouldn’t be able to play the rest of the game and continued to cheer on my teammates and I was so committed to my team that I went back in the second and third set after tearing it in the first because I would run through a brick wall for them. I’m looking for a program that’ll be good for me athletically as well as academically. I believe that I not only have the talent to compete and play on a college team but, the character, work ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your amazing program. As an academic all conference recipient and all over hard worker I believe that I have what it takes a to be a leader and future player on your team! I am also number 11 in my video.
