Jillian Kimmel '24 Recruiting Profile

My goals for my future is to continue my volleyball career while pursuing my education further. I want to go to college to prepare myself for vet-school, which is very competitive when trying to get into, but I am up to the challenge. I have been a student athlete since the 4th grade, which has given me time to adjust to being a student athlete while taking difficult classes. I have taken 5 AP classes in the past two years, along with being in two year-round sports and maintaining a job. This can be difficult to maintain for some, but I have always maintained atleast a 3.6 GPA as well as succeeded in my sports and job. I love a good challenge and can do anything I put my mind and heart into. I am very determined when it comes to getting better on the court and in the classroom. Even though I strive for perfection, I am still positive in those not so perfect moments, which is what makes me a great team player. I am able to lift others up along with me when in tough or stressful situations, which is difficult for some. Even though everyone wants to play in higher up divisions, even myself, I am thrilled to be with any program that has a great opportunity for me to study my major as well as play the sport I love.
