Personal Statement

Hi coaches! My name is Ambreeya (Bree) Peoples, I attend Woodlan Jr/Sr High School and play club volleyball at Empowered Volleyball Academy in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

As I went through middle school, I was a multiple sport athlete. I enjoyed playing basketball, soccer and volleyball - both in school and through club. During my eighth-grade year I realized that my love for volleyball was beginning to surpass my love for the other sports. The summer going into my freshman year I chose to focus solely on volleyball and set a goal to make the JV volleyball team at Concordia Lutheran High School. I worked hard, showed up every day, and kept working towards my goal! My hard work and determination exceeded my expectations, and I made the Varsity team and even lettered as a freshman! I continued to work hard and set goals for myself and lettered as a sophomore as well! Through these achievements, I proved to myself that I could achieve any goal I set for myself- and even outperform those goals! Outperforming goals continued after I transferred from Concordia to Woodlan Jr./Sr. High School, where I helped my team win Class 2A Sectional and Regional Titles.

I love the game of volleyball and desire to play in college at a high, competitive level. I value teamwork and sportsmanship. I lead by example each time I step on the court and off the court as well. As I journey through high school, I plan to continue to challenge myself and keep working harder each day to pursue my dreams!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
