Personal Statement
My aspirations for college is to study Early Childhood Education and Sports Medicine. I would hope to possibly continue to play volleyball at the collegiate level as well. Playing at a higher level, especially in college has been a dream of mine since I was pretty young. I would like to pursue these aspirations and make something big of myself, academically and athletically.
I believe I am a good candidate because I am a team player, I want to see my team succeed. I am a very flexible volleyball player, so I will take on whatever my coach tells me to do. I am a strong back-row player and I will work the front as much as I possibly can. I do not believe in giving up in-game, or in practice. I am an experienced player, and I am open to getting feedback to work on my craft even more.
I have been told by many that I am a natural leader and a strong-willed young woman. I am a very responsible, intelligent, and mindful individual. I have found these characteristics within the sport of volleyball, I was captain of my school's varsity team my junior and senior year of high school. I challenge myself in practice to help myself get better, and I would challenge my team as well so they could get better with me. Academically I try to maintain good grades, I have maintained a GPA of 3.6-3.8 throughout my high school career.
