Personal Statement

   I am a military child and student. I have lived overseas for 15 years, and because of this, I am resilient and able to deal with life complications more so than the average 17-year-old. I have been playing volleyball internationally for 8 years, specifically clubs in Japan and clubs and my current varsity team in Germany. 

   My ability to work with various coaches, teammates, and clubs makes me a well-rounded player, as I can make adjustments for various situations. As a current varsity team player, I am a leader on and off the court with my strong leadership skills, strong academics, and willingness to learn about my surroundings to make adjustments. As a junior at Kaiserslautern American High School in 2023, I was a DoDEA All-Star Volleyball player and DoDEA All-European Volleyball team player, and I recently joined one of the Sweden women's Volleyball Travel Teams for the European Championships against counties all around Europ. As a military-connected student, my resilience and leadership abilities will make me a great addition to any team.
