Personal Statement
Hi there! I am a 5ft10, left handed setter from Auckland, New Zealand who is currently at the College of Southern Idaho, a junior college in Idaho. I am a starting sophomore setter and yet, I want to go further and go the to high level to perform which for me is Division 1. A little bit about my first year here at CSI, I am the starting setter in both of my years. In my region last year, I was fifth in leading assists with 352 in my first season. But after my first season already, I am wanting to strive for the higher level of game. Already in this years preseason, I am 10th in total leading assists in the NJCAA rankings. I want to be able to learn volleyball skills at a higher level and improve my game as a setter and a team player. I am dedicated, and willing to learn, something I take pride in. I think what makes me a different recruit is that I have experience from playing either in a national team for my country New Zealand, or being drafted in the National Volleyball League there. That is the experience I offer.
