Personal Statement

Hi Coaches, I’m Veronica Tucker, I will be graduating at the end of 2025 in Australia and am looking to join American college in 2026 or 2027 I am coachable, competitive, dedicated and I love a challenge. I am a positive presence on and off the court and am always looking for ways to improve myself as a player and an individual. I play with intensity and grit, no matter the score, I refuse to give up. I frequently work on plyometrics and strength conditioning. Here in Australia, I made the Queensland state team squad in 2023 and 2024, As well as being invited to the National development program and attended the AIS (Australian Institute of Sport) for the Under 18s National team selection camp. I offer a variety of skills as I play middle hitter, Outside hitter and Opposite hitter. I strive to perform well academically and am interested in nutrition, psychology and sports sciences.
