Personal Statement
My name is Hazel Bell, a student who is currently living in Daegu, South Korea. Despite living away from mainland America, I have strived since my Freshman year of High School to be able to play on a college volleyball team. I grew up in Hawaii, the entirety of my elementary school years before we had to move again due to my fathers military position. It was hard changing environments, but my love for volleyball gave me a sense of home and hopefulness. And since, I have aspired to become a volleyball player.
In college, I aspire to further my future through growing and exploring the vast expanse that I can reach; learning to grow to be the best version of myself that I can be. Coming from a small school, on a military installation overseas, I have not been given many options in my High School life(in college opportunities and some academics). I like to believe that because of this roadblock, I have been working harder to achieve my goals through persistence and dedication to achieving what I want to.
