Sports have always been a big part of my life. I started playing volleyball when I was 12 years old and with years volleyball community became an important part of me. Playing volleyball has taught me patience, work ethic, how to respect others and how to co-work with them. Earning a second-place at the State Championship with my club team was my senior high school year highlight. My freshman year at college was an amazing personal challenge, facing a completely new environment and a different language as my first time in the United States. Sophomore volleyball season at college was challenging in terms of big coaching staff changes during the season, and yet we did our best to have a successful season. Being a captain in my sophomore year was a great leadership experience and I am grateful my team had that trust in me and my abilities.
In terms of my academic goals, I am looking forward to pursuing a bachelor's degree. I would be interested in majors like Sports Management, Psychology, Sports Massage, and Spanish.
