When I started volleyball, I fell in love with the process of progression. The more I trained, the more progress I started to see which constantly made me push myself to improve in both training and competition. In sport, I believe that the more work you put in, the bigger the reward will be. This is why I am so determined to put in 100% effort and work into becoming the best player I can be.
I am a fast and agile setter. I have the ability to play in high pressure situations as well as bring leadership and competitiveness onto the court. I believe I give confidence to my attackers by developing tactical strategies with them, taking on feedback and offering my encouragement. As a setter, I work hard to run effective plays that create seems and one on one blocks.
My team orientated mindset means that I thrive in the sport of volleyball as I believe teamwork is one of the most important aspects of the game. I support my teammates on and off the court and communicate productively, to ensure I have a strong relationship with each individual player.
I know I still have such a long way to go in my volleyball career, which is why I am so committed to developing not only my skills but my knowledge for the game from experienced coaches and players. If given the opportunity to play in Div 1 College Volleyball, I would be so grateful and show in trainings, games and within the team just how much this means to me.
