Personal Statement
G'day mate,
I am an Australian student-athlete seeking a high level and spirited volleyball program.
I have been playing volleyball since I was 13 years old. I have aspired to play at the collegiate level from the very day I became aware of the once in a lifetime opportunity. Playing at the collegiate level will truly be an honor.
I am very intelligent on the court and am quick to the ball, however I prize myself on my discipline and motivation. I am a team leader and good communicator while also encouraging my teammates. I am a very coachable individual and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find. Cardinal traits in my style of play consist of strong communication and leadership, 100% effort at games and training and staying humble.
In the classroom, I study hard to maintain a high GPA. I am top of my class in all my subjects which include: chemistry, psychology, english and top level mathematics.
My peers all know me as the 'girl who will achieve anything' as I am always working hard to better myself as a person and a player.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself to reach my potential with the help of a collegiate level coach. I am ultimately looking to receive a scholarship to a college with high standards.
