Personal Statement

Hello! I am Fiona Montilus and have been playing volleyball going on my fifth year. I am an outside hitter and from the first moment of winning a point with a strong hit on the court I knew I wanted to play this sport at the highest levels possible. I want to be the best.

I am good for your team because I have drive and passion. I have a very competitive spirit and I'm agile on the court. I am a team player and see my teammates as family. My goal is to help lift them up so we can all feel the accomplishment of playing well together.  I am a multi-sport athlete and have been in sports all my life, but nothing compares to how I feel on the volleyball court. 

In academics I am an Honor Roll student. I will be going on to take multiple AP ad IB classes my Junior year and plan to keep my grades up the way  have been while balancing my sports and extracurriculars as well.
