Personal Statement

After attending a volleyball camp in middle school, I started club volleyball. The coaches said that I stood out and I should join club. However, even before volleyball I was a very competitive person. I have always enjoyed competition and I love to win no matter the challenge! When I make mistakes, I tend to be hard on myself but I learn from my errors and work to be positive on and off the court. I am always cheering on my teammates whether on the court or supporting my teammates from the sidelines. If there is something I want to improve on, I go take time on my own and work hard to improve. Since I started playing volleyball, I have had the goal to compete at an NCAA school. My dream is to attend a great college and compete in volleyball at a high level. Eagerly, I can’t wait to pursue my dreams.
